Doing a turn at the Summerhall Historical Fiction Festival in Edinburgh on Saturday April 25th at 10.30. Will be talking about The Suicide Club, fiction and fact, spies and World War One, and anything anyone would like to talk about. For some reason it’s called ‘The Deadly True Story Behind one of World War One’s Best Kept Secrets’. Hum. Will have to think hard about that one. Other writers of historical fiction appearing at other times, including Allan Massie – always worth catching.
